We have a new Comacchio MC 405 multipurpose drill available for hire from August 2010. This drill has been setup for geotech work and also DTH and mud rotary drilling. The drill is fitted with a hydraulic SPT unit / dump mast / slewing head / 3500 mm stroke as well as a high pressure triplex pump. We now have small portable auger drills available , to fit on either trailer or ute. These drills are fitted with a 25 hp diesel engine and have a 2 mtr stroke. The engine is fitted with Murphy shutdown systems and these drills are so easy to operate. The control panel is fitted with both feed and rotation flow control valves and the mast is hydraulically raised and lowered. These units sell for $35,000.00 + GST and are Australian made product. We also offer the option of having a hollow spindle head fitted to these drills if required.
