Welcome to our news page, we are presently trying to keep this page updated with any products that are new to the market. This month we are pleased to announce the first manportable drill is now completed and ready for export. As with all of our products the manportable drill has been designed with ease of operation in mind, this drill is a pleasure to operate and the setting up and dismantling of the drill takes no time at all. The drill is designed to run 3 mtr rods and core barrels, so none of this 1.5 mtr stroke nightmares, spending more time running the core barrels than drilling . Please find the specifications listed below for our standard 300 mtr NQ and 150 mtr HQ capacity drill.

RSA 300/3W Manportable

Powered by 2 x Perkins 40 hp 4cylinder turbo charged water cooled diesel engines , fitted with after market fuel filtration and Murphy shutdown systems

The drill is fitted with a 3 mtr stroke mast with a winch pulley mounted on top. The mast is bolted to the aluminium drill base via two load bearings for ease of removal.

The feed system is driven by double link chain through a 4000 kgs pullup/pulldown capacity gearbox. High wear cogs are fitted top and bottom of the mast.

The rotation head is a through spindle unit offering up to 2000 rpm @ 650 nm torque that is fully variable . The rotation had can be swung out of the way when retrieving core barrels .

The drill is fitted with hydraulic foot clamps for ease of holding rods and casing in sizes BQ-NQ-HQ fully ajustable

We fit a Pullmaster PL1 wireline winch to the drill , along with all pulleys and frames.

Hydraulics pumps and motors are Eaton and Commercial brand gear pumps.

We can offer options such as hoisting winches/ injection pumps/ swivels and safety cages if required
